Since it was phago's 4th birthday on the 21st (\o/), I thought I'd take some time to talk about the my position in the team and what I've experienced in phago.

Joining phago was basically a dream come true. At that time (it's gotten a lot better ) I was pretty obsessed with BZFlag (GU). I mean.. crazy about it. There were times when I couldn't wait 'til I got home so I could match. I'd basically be online 24/7, which is one of the reasons why I have about 100 days of online time since starting GU. I always admired phago, even when I didn't know much about them. Whenever I saw Saturos or benji 13 (only ones who talked ) online I'd immediately start talking to them. About one year ago I talked to Satu on Skype for the first time. Even though we barely knew each other we talked about different things for almost an hour. The proceeding couple of weeks I got closer to benji and we finally we decided to meet. We walked around town for 3 hours while ben mostly told me about phago and the things he had experienced. Heya!

Wanted to wish all you guys a great christmas and happy holidays!! We've been a little lazy lately.. even though there's been so much going on. I'll just give you guys a brief idea of what has happened.
So, 3 weeks ago I decided to make my own team. I was desperate for some change and thought that was the right thing to do. Last Saturday however, I realized that what I had done wasn't really helping anyone and that I had been much happier on phago. I rejoined that day and am incredibly relieved that I did so. Last night, we finally played our 2000th match! (don't worry we won ) Special thanks goes to Elemental Chaos for making it happen. Bachiii, benji 13 and Saturos played vs. fastkill, hjphysioman and CE.
Another big thing coming up, is the Phago-New Year LAN! benji and I will be coming up to Berlin next weekend to for a big LAN. I'm really excited about this trip, since benji is coming along this time, too. The highlight of this trip will be the Rikers Cup taking place on January 3rd. I'm really looking forward to the Cup, especially because it's during the time of our visit! Sitting in the same room with 4 other players will double the fun. As usual we have a lot of cool things and projects planned for the LAN...that might or might not come to life.

A big thanks to everyone who contributed to my awesome birthday picture. Saturos designed a phago-tshirt. It looks amaaazing. Whenever he gets around to it, he'll upload some pictures.

A couple of months ago, I realized, that I see a lot of BZFlag callsigns/team names when I'm walking through town or other places.
I thought that it would be really cool, if I could take a picture of that callsign or name and group all of these pictures together after a couple of months.

We had a really nice match with ToC yesterday. It was soxs, kush (telemarketer was much cooler, btw ) and tz versus SAMY, Bachi and me. After leading 2:0 we had the chance to score 3:0, but couldnt beat soxs on the base. ToC then made the comeback with 2:1, followed by 3:1 from us. In the last minutes ToC even made the 3:2, but couldnt reach the tie because the clock was on our side.
In the end the numerous observers saw a very close match which easily could have been a win for ToC, too. Maybe the fact that the phagos were playing in the same room turned the scale.

SAMY gets an extra pat on the back for doing a hattrick.

For phago-south (dex, ben, gorak) the holidays are over now, so we might not be able to keep the 3.0ish activity up.
