What we love about LANs

The best part about being in [phago], is by far the great LANs we have.
Follow up:
It really doesn't get better, than sitting in a room with 4 other team mates and coordinating every move in a match. The atmosphere is great, especially when you have 24 bottles of Booster around. Sometimes, when something funny happens in a match, everyone just starts laughing and we have to pause the match for a couple of minutes.
Winning doesn't even matter, it's all about sitting together and having a good time.
The sad thing is however, that we can only all get together about once a year these days. Everyone is just too busy with UNI or school/work. But maybe that makes these LANs so special. Whenever we do get the chance to all meet up, everyone usually sticks around for a week or so.
Since the phago players are kind of divided into two parts of Germany, Saturos, SAMY, Bachi, TRAC in Berlin and benji, Gorak and I in the South-Western part, we tend to have smaller LANs too. Maybe just a night or so, but they can't be compared to the real thing. ![]()
I experienced my first real phago-lan this summer and it was a blast. (yay berlin) It's amazing, but through this simple game, we've had some of the most enjoyable times of our lives. And that is exactly why [phago] is such a special team. Basically, it's a group of friends that communicate daily. Usually unrelated to BZ.
Some things that are a definite must for every LAN:
• Booster (COLD)
• Pizza
• Wasabi Peas
• Some form of chips or candy
• soft drinks
• and of course, our teammates ![]()
So joining [phago] basically means you're going to gain 5 kilos over the summer. ![]()
